Our History
Youth Crisis Awareness and Peace Forum (YCAPF) Nigeria was founded in the year 2016 February by Comrade Edet Zakariya Abubakar A.K.A Zaman Lafiya, who was then an NCE student of Federal College of Education, Zaria. He founded YCAPF for the benefit of entire Nigerians by bringing together vibrant youth, human right activist and social crusaders to fight in one accord just to maintain peace for the betterment of our nations. Also to promote the interest of Nigerian youths towards peace and unity for the benefit of our future generations. But due to financial incapability and getting the right people to carter for the welfare and activities of the union, the aims of the union was not achieved in 2016, even though there is much achievements and enough crusaders to carry out the task. But hopping to meet personalities we feel they are ready to work with us towards achieving the aims and objectives of the association
Our Vision
To unite humanitarian activists in all angles of Nigeria, irrespective of tribe and religion, towards a common purpose, we believe that with proper leadership, Youth empowerment and enlightenment, discipline of truth and defense of democracy - we can fight in one accord to maintain peace.
Our Mission
We have a mission of bringing together the four corners of Nigeria, with the aim of exposing vibrant and prospective youth, who are capable of contributing towards peace-building, unity and stand firm to see the development of our great Nation. We are unreservedly developed to our truth, accountability, justice, and democracy in Nigeria. For us, tribe and religion are inconsequential, we fight in the defense of our conscience and posterity. We will never submit to tyranny or any form of oppression, fear and persecution in the cause of this struggle.
Our Aims and Objectives
1. To enlighten youths on the importance of valuing other ethnic groups and religions
2. To make youth understand the differences between various ethnic groups and religions, so as to use it as tool towards achieving peace, unity and development
3. To make youths of different ethnicity and religion understand their similarities and bring out a positive goal to achieve in it
4. To inculcate in youths the skills or ability of self-dependency, so as to reduce the rate of unemployment and crisis in Nigeria
5. And above all, to bring back a day when Nigeria will be highly regarded as one of the best countries that think about the welfare of the masses in the international community

Our Team
We are a team of vigilant youths from different parts of Kano state, consisting of members of various background from 44 local government of the state, we fall in love with peace with strong desire of maintaining peaceful living across the state, the nation and the world all together, as we work for peace, we struggle hard to end crises and to dominate any element of violence with peace and happiness for national development.

Our Constitution
YCAPF Constitution consists of all the commandments, obligations and principles governing the association, we consider it as an obligatory right for every member to acquire, read and understand the constitution, this will guarantee intellectual participation of members in accordance with the underlying rules and regulations of the association.
